Features of a web application


As WebRTC is more popular as a web-hosted service, it makes a lot of sense to take advantage of its web nature and utilize its full potential as a web application. The features discussed here are particular for WebRTC clients only and not applicable to usual SIP agents such as hard phones, desktop-based soft clients, and others. These features include OAuth, Geolocation, RESTful web services to fetch information such as news and weather updates, integration with social networking accounts, as well as importing contacts, sending web mails, and so on.
