Summary

By now, we have learned how to record any call that enters our PBX, if we choose to do so. We now know of the importance of maintaining our recordings so that they do not fill up the hard disk on our PBX, and we are able to create some basic scripts to accomplish recording maintenance (with a little help from cron).

The next chapter will focus on personalizing our PBX by changing the default music on hold, recording custom voice prompts, and customizing feature codes/star codes.
