Normally, you do not design a complete template from scratch in CMS Made Simple. You can use any HTML/CSS editor to create a design outside of CMS Made Simple. It is also possible that you have downloaded or purchased a ready-made HTML template or you work with a designer who has created the design for your website. In all the cases listed above, you get an HTML file, CSS file, and one or more images. In this section, we learn to port an HTML template to CMS Made Simple.
Imagine, you get an HTML template that looks like the following screenshot.
This template consists of three files: HTML, CSS, and a logo image in the upper-right corner. Notice that there is nothing but pure HTML and CSS at this point. Let us create a new CMS Made Simple template from the preceding template.
