Time-limiting access


We showed you how you can date-restrict access to certain users, but you may have also noticed that when you add a date from the calendar a 24-hour time period also appears. Use this to set the access time to a specific minute of the day you have chosen:

A tutor may use this feature to set up a "Read, Memorize, and Reproduce" activity in a classroom, for example. This activity could give the learners, for example, 15 minutes to read about a particular topic before they go on to recall as much as they have read about the topic as possible, going on to re-present what they have learned to other people in the class who have read different Views.

Another great feature is that you can add a user more than once and give them two different access slots. This may be useful if there are two parts of a course and you would like a break in between so that you can rearrange the View for the second part of the course.
