Time for action — downloading and installing MySQL connector/J 5.1


You can download the Connector/J 5.1 JDBC driver from MySQL Developer Zone. Just follow the simple steps:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and go to http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/ connector/j/5.1.html. Scroll down the page until you locate the Source and Binaries (tar.gz) Pick a mirror link:
