In Magento, you can give your customers the ability to review a product. Other shoppers can see the review and also post their own reviews. By default, Magento requires all reviews to be approved by the store administrator. Reviews do not appear until you review and approve them.
Now let's have a look at reviews from the customer's point of view. When a shopper views a product that has not been reviewed, he/she sees a link on the product page inviting the customer to review the product:
The customer is then taken to the review form:
After the customer submits the review, Magento displays a confirmation message at the top of the page. Notice that the review must be approved before it is posted:
