The next exercise has been designed to make you familiar with the structure of the main Moodle directory and to make sure that you know where the theme's directory is. It is a very simple stage in this book, but it is required because depending on where and how your original Moodle has been set up, the main Moodle directory may not be in the same place.
1. Go to your desktop and double-click on the My Computer icon. If you are using Windows Vista, click on the Start button and then click Computer. This will open up the 'My Computer' dialog box.
2. Now browse to
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs
. This will open the main Moodle site's directory.3. Now click on the
theme
directory. It will open and list all of the themes that come packaged with Moodle.4. Finally, click on the
standard
theme folder. You should see the same file structure as seen in the following screenshot:
