In this recipe, I suggest that we write by taking into account the personality of the students. Though a student has to be the main character in The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, he or she should say whether or not they would act the way the female lead did. They would change the name of the story if they do not care about plants or nature. So why don't we find more about the interest of our students through their writing. Let's Moodle it!

We have already used the Journal, though you can select Online text, as this is a very simple activity. We will choose a link to a website where students can either get information or read the book. We can also select an article on Wikipedia, summarizing the story or the book. In this case, we are going to create a link to the complete book. The title of the book tells us something, since as readers we already know that there exists a secret garden somewhere. So we are going to select the Weekly outline section...
