Time for action - running the exercise using a netbook's touchpad


  1. 1. Click on the course name (Beach) and switch your role to student.

  2. 2. Click on the Dragging and dropping words link on the corresponding week. The web browser will show the bitmap image of the scene and the instructions with the hyperlink to the Inkscape drawing. The picture word will appear in blue and underlined, indicating that it is a hyperlink.

  3. 3. Right-click on the Picture word with the hyperlink and select Save Link As in the context menu that appears. Save the file as mybeach.svg in your documents folder.

  4. 4. Click on the Start or edit my journal entry button. Moodle will display a big text area with an HTML editor.

  5. 5. Start Inkscape and open the previously saved file, mybeach.svg.

  6. 6. Drag each word below the image and drop it over the corresponding zone or element in the scene. You can use your finger to move the mouse pointer over the desired word, then press the left mouse pad button and drag the word with your finger...
