Time for action—Modifying your page title


In order to modify your page's title:

  1. Go to Back Office | Preferences | Contact.

  2. Enter the title to your store in Shop name field. This will appear on the top bar of your browser. This will also be the name that appears in your e-mails.

This choice of title is an important part of search engine optimization and some search engines look for this information when they rank your pages.

This is how it appears on the front office.

If you want to change the title for this index.php page within your store, you will need to make adjustments to the Meta-Tags as follows:

  1. Go to Back Office | Preferences | Meta-Tags.

  2. Choose the page index.php, and click on the edit icon on the right (the pencil icon).

  3. Enter the Page's title. In this example, we have entered in Shop till you Drop!. Then click on the Save button.
