Replacing icons


Another task that is related to images used in PrestaShop, which can affect your theme, is the icon set that you use. The default icons that come with the PrestaShop software are not that bad, but if you are trying to create a new theme, it can enhance your uniqueness. The icon files for the specific themes are located at: /themes/theme1/img/icon.

Note that theme1 is a name that I created, you can always look into the default PrestaShop theme file or theme name if you have copied the default theme directory.

One method you can use is copying another icon set from another theme that you copied or downloaded. By pasting it into your new theme's folder, you can get a different theme with a different icon. You can also mix and match by adding or deleting some of the icons you want to use or replace if you have more theme icons that you can pick and choose from.
