Time for action – testing the priority enrollment period for an ineligible student


Follow these steps to see how the Registration Enrollment plugin will handle a student who meets the criteria set for enrollment in the course, but who does not meet the priority enrollment period criteria.

  1. Log out of the site and log back in as Student4002.

  2. Student4002 is an Advanced level student, which is the criteria for enrolling in the class, but is not enrolled in the Teacher Training program, the criteria for advanced enrollment. Use the username S400002 and password S4002 to log in as this student.

  3. Navigate to the course using the Show all courses link found in the MyCourses block and click on the course link to attempt to enroll in the course.

  4. You will receive a message informing you that the enrollment period has not yet begun for the course with a message about when the period will begin, as shown in the following screenshot. The time remaining until the enrollment period starts will, of course, depend...
