We learned a lot in this chapter about using GnuCash to find, fix, and organize transactions.

Specifically, we covered:

  • Finding transactions: We learned that sorting is often the first step to finding transactions and learned how to do sorting. Then we went on to filtering out transactions that we are not interested in so that we can home in on the ones that we want. Finally, we studied a variety of ways to search for that needle-in-the-haystack elusive transaction.
