Set up SNMP access for VMware ESXi 4

In order to set up SNMP access on a VMware ESXi server, you'll need to have the vSphere CLI client installed. The client can be obtained free of charge from www.vmware.com. Let's assume you've already downloaded and installed the CLI client on a Windows system.
