Summary

Creating a network allows us to give students or colleagues access to their own WordPress site. In this chapter we covered how to enable the WordPress multisite features. Once the network was created, we looked at how to create new sites, enable themes and plugins, use plugins to enhance the network administrator experience, and display network content on our own WordPress site.

In the next chapter we will use the BuddyPress plugin to create a fully-functioning social network.
