Summary


In this chapter, we discussed the setup of the distribution modules—Inventory, Sales Order Processing, and Purchase Order Processing. We went over the details of selections on setup windows and discussed the importance of using classes for inventory items. At this point, Dynamics GP is ready to be used to enter master records and transactions.

In the next chapter we will go over populating initial data into Dynamics GP using Integration Manager.
