Introduction

Basic maintenance is important to keep Dynamics GP healthy and secure. No complex system runs well without regular maintenance to prevent errors and improve system performance. A significant amount of maintenance isn't normally required for a Dynamics GP implementation, but there are some areas where regular maintenance can provide significant benefits in terms of safety and performance. In chapter 9 we will look at recipes designed to help maintain a healthy Dynamics GP system. Most of these recipes will typically be performed by an administrator or power user as these recipes can have adverse consequences if improperly performed.
