With MOSS 2007/Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, you only had one option when manipulating lists through Web Services. An out-of-the-box Web Service called Lists.asmx
allows you to manipulate list data through a variety of Web methods. The following image illustrates many of the Web methods that the Lists.asmx
