In previous chapters, you learned how to take the existing Dashboards that come with ACT! and make them your own. Once you feel really comfortable with both the existing Dashboards and the editing process you may want to move on and start creating your own Dashboards from scratch.
Using the ACT! Dashboard designer, you can create new Dashboards that best suit how you and your business work. ACT! users that have manager or administrator rights have the ability to add, remove, resize, and drag-and-drop components. They can add headers and footers and set the default filters. And, because there is no limit to the number of Dashboards that can be used in a database, they can create separate Dashboards for the various parts of a business that they want to track.
