You've just got to love a software program that is as flexible as ACT!. By now you should be really comfortable about making changes to the ACT! Dashboards and their components. Changing a component's headers and footers is a great way to describe exactly what a Dashboard component does. For example, you might have changed the default Opportunity by User component to reflect just those individuals in one specific sales team; changing the header makes looking at the component a whole lot clearer.
By now you know the drill; in order to change a component you need to first identify the component that needs changing.
1. Click the Dashboard icon on the navigation bar to access the Dashboard view.
2. Select the Dashboard you want to modify from the Dashboard drop-down list and then click the Edit button on the Dashboard toolbar. The Dashboard designer opens.
