Summary

As we can see, Analysis Cubes for Excel is a very robust reporting tool. It can actually be quite fun to use and gives us the ability to create a wide array of reports that we may have found impossible or extremely difficult to create in some of the other reporting tools available to us. Hopefully, we can take what we have learned in this chapter and go beyond the examples we have provided and become a rock star in our organization by providing powerful dashboards for our executive and management teams to understand the health of our company.

If you thought that was cool, wait until you see Management Reporter! In the next chapter, we will be introduced to Management Reporter by exploring how to install, configure, and set up the product. We will then dive into topics such as understanding the range of building blocks and creating basic Report, Row, Column, and Reporting Tree definitions.
