Profile the master data: This stage allows us to rationalize where all of the data is coming from and the state of the data
Consolidate: Consolidates data into a central repository
Govern the master data: Here, we clean up the data, run it through a deduplication process, and possibly augment it with information from third-party applications
Share it: This is where an organization can expose this single version of truth across the entire organization
Leverage it: This means that we can do something meaningful with the data
