Securing Windows Server AppFabric's monitoring store


Applications and services may sometimes emit sensitive and confidential monitoring related data, including but not limited to PII (Personally Identifiable Information). Considering the nature of the data, this calls for securing all the avenues involved in the whole workflow of capturing and storing monitoring related information in Windows Server AppFabric.

To understand what needs to be secured we need to understand the architecture of Windows Server AppFabric's monitoring subsystem.
