Introduction


The first thing that will come up if you talk about Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is services. Services are building blocks of SOA and gain more momentum on the Web, which is an excellent platform for services. It is not just the Web, also within enterprise more and more services are being created to satisfy business needs and opening systems/applications to enable them to exchange information with each other.

BizTalk has evolved over the years and has capabilities on board to simplify exposing systems or processes and consuming services.
