Objects and animations in Video Demo projects


We already discussed the all new Video Demo recording mode and project type in Chapter 1, Getting Started with Captivate, and Chapter 2, Capturing the Slides. We discovered that Video Demo projects are much different from the standard Demonstrations and Simulations. In fact, they are so different that they use a specific file extension. However, how different are they as far as objects, animations, and interactivity are concerned? This is what we will discover in this section.

Interactivity in Video Demo projects

Let's begin with the easiest and shortest topic.

Remember that a Video Demo project is a big Full Motion Recording and that it can only be published as an .mp4 video file. To make it short, a Video Demo can only propose a linear video-like experience to the Students.
