The Quiz Preferences


Now that we have a better idea on how a Quiz works by default, we will return to the Quiz Preferences dialog to take a deeper look at the available options using the following steps:

  1. 1. If needed, return to the drivingInBe.cptx file.

  2. 2. Use the Quiz | Quiz Preferences menu item to open the Preferences dialog.

    By default, the Quiz Preferences dialog opens on the Reporting section. We will discuss the reporting options later in this chapter.

  3. 3. On the left-hand side of the Preferences dialog, click on the Settings category of the Quiz section, as shown in the following screenshot:

    Take some time to review the options of this page. Most of them should be self-explanatory.

  4. 4. Deselect the Show Progress checkbox. This removes the progress indicator situated at the bottom-left corner of the Question Slides.

    Remember that the Short Answer question of slide 9 will only be asked to the students that respond miles per hour to the question asked on slide 5. In other words, the Question...
