SpamAssassin installs these types of files:

Configuration files
Rules files
In addition, SpamAssassin creates files in the home directory of any user that runs it (or any user it is run as). All these files will be created in the ~user/.spamassassin/
directory.
The executable files are placed in /usr/bin/
by default.
