In this chapter we looked at how the site navigation structure is determined by how channels are arranged in the hierarchy. We also looked at how the way galleries are arranged can make the job of looking for templates and resources easier for authors.
We used Site Manager to create channels, template galleries, and resource galleries for the TropicalGreen site. We discussed the properties that can be set and some tips and guidelines to follow when creating containers.
Finally, we created the TropicalGreen project and created the folders required for storing the code that we will be writing later. We showed you what went on under the hood when the wizard set up the MCMS project file. We finished up with a discussion on how Visual Source Safe can be used for source control when working with multiple developers on the same project.
