In this chapter, we learned about the way in which the System Center Configuration Manager hierarchy is organized. We discussed boundary groups, how to create them, and how to configure them. We also discussed primary and secondary sites as well as CAS as different types of sites that can be configured in the Configuration Manager infrastructure. After that, we talked about different ways to discover systems in the infrastructure. At the end, we discussed all the aspects of client settings and how to use these settings to make an optimal configuration for your business needs.

In the next chapter, we will take a look at Windows Intune and Windows Azure, how you can integrate your Configuration Manager infrastructure, and use the public cloud to add value to your Configuration Manager infrastructure.
