Gathering the tools


In the past, many people held such strong beliefs that they felt it was completely justified to burn people of a different opinion at the stake. Mysteriously, similar strong passions often emerge among programmers when someone performs the heresy of proposing a different source control or build automation system.

The recommendations in this section are about the types of tools that you need to manage your enterprise ADF project through the entire project development process and into production—commonly called Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
