Team Concept is a new feature of Hudson 3.1. This feature adds role-based authorization to Hudson, which will allow multiple teams to work on a single instance of Hudson and not interfere with each other's jobs. To accomplish this with previous releases of Hudson, a separate instance of Hudson will have to be installed for each team or a complicated job-based Matrix Authorization Strategy will have to be configured and maintained.
We will create two teams of three users each. We will first create the users and then later assign them to teams.
From the Hudson home page, click on the Manage Hudson link in the left navigation column and then the Manage Users link from the main pane of the Manage Hudson screen. Click on the Create User link from the left navigation pane to create a user.
