In this chapter, we glanced through monitoring and management aspects of the spring integration framework such as how we can keep an eye on implicit and user-defined integration components, how we can send and receive an event and invoke an operation, and many other aspects. We also covered how threads can be used to scale the application and a couple of ways to scale the state. This brings us to the end of our theoretical journey. In the next chapter; we will write an end-to-end application and finish off our spring integration journey!
