We covered a lot of ground in this chapter. Our goal was to extend what we had already learned and develop a responsive mobile application. Any mobile ArcGIS application should be usable across devices. While we chose to use the Bootstrap framework to provide this flexibility, jQuery and progressive enhancement are other good options that we encourage you to explore. Starting with a simple Bootstrap-enabled code sample, we moved our discussions forward from the previous chapter and built a responsive application that included geolocation, address search, and a legend.
This chapter introduced some more advanced concepts. This included adding Bootstrap responsive page elements and applying dojo widgets and modules respectively. In the next chapter, we will discuss new cloud-based data and services that can be leveraged by ArcGIS mobile web apps. ArcGIS Online is our next area of focus.
