This book will teach you parallel programming techniques using examples in Python and will help you explore the many ways in which you can write code that allows more than one process to happen at once. Starting with introducing you to the world of parallel computing, it moves on to cover the fundamentals in Python. Next you will be taught about process-based parallelism where you will synchronize processes using message passing along with learning about the performance of MPI Python Modules. Remote Method Invocation with Pyro4


Python Remote Objects (Pyro4) is a library that resembles Java's Remote Method Invocation (RMI), which allows you to invoke a method of a remote object (that belongs to a different process and is potentially on a different machine) almost as if the object were local (that is, it belonged to the same process in which it runs the invocation). In this sense, the Remote Method Invocation technology can be traced from a conceptual point of view. The idea of a remote procedure call (RPC) is reformulated for the object-oriented paradigm (in which, of course, the procedures are replaced by methods). The use of a mechanism for remote method invocation in an object-oriented system entails the significant advantages of uniformity and symmetry in the project, since it allows us to model the interactions between distributed processes using the same conceptual tool that is used to represent the interactions between the different objects of an application or the method...
