Summary


In this chapter, we looked at the important concept of integration with an external system in the form of extensions. Our focus was on how to utilize the parallel Microsoft systems in order to increase the productivity of the NAV system. An interface is like a trade route through which the outside world can help your system grow. We learned about the concepts of PowerBI, Jet Express, and NAV add-ons, which can surely make the NAV system more dynamic if used together. We explored how these tools can help change Dynamics NAV to solve some issues with ease.

In the next chapter, we will discuss the future aspects of the Dynamics NAV system. In the chapter, we will discuss the major products that will shape the future of the system and also how the NAV system itself will be upgraded in the new release. This is crucial for all NAV professionals since, in recent years, there have been many rumors about the future changes that might happen.
