Design and development considerations for Report design

Reports are the most important aspect in Dynamics NAV System because of their ultimate usage. In most cases consultants face the situation where the client vary their requirement or time to time and ask for different kind of reports. I have also seen the projects where requirement involving custom reports constitute almost 60% of the overall development time. The Report design considerations can affect the overall duration of the project lifecycle. This is the main reason the design and development considerations for the Report design have been given greater importance in this chapter.
