The upgrade workflow


Different phases that constitute the upgrade process are as follows:

When you are going to start the upgrade process in Dynamics NAV, there is a specific workflow that you need to follow. This workflow helps you quickly complete the workflow with maximum output.

Each of these phases have different tasks and responsibilities, and one must be very careful while changing the phase. It is very important that you have the necessary output in that you have extracted from the previous phase in order to provide that material as the input to the next phase. This is the reason you should not neglect any phase.

Diagnostic phase

Diagnostic phase is the first phase that can be taken as the nontechnical phase, but the person carrying out the steps of this phase should have a good technical background.
