Creating additional events in Google Calendar


Communicating questions and assignment due dates may not be the only information you want to share with parents. In my class, I also include dates for quizzes and exams. Some teachers will add these to Google Classroom as an assignment so that they appear in the calendar automatically. However, you can also add them directly to Google Calendar as an event. While this feature is exclusively for the Google Calendar app, if parents are actively viewing the Google Calendar, this method may be a more efficient method for communicating information to both students and parents. There are several different methods to create an event in Google Calendar. The following steps will explore one method:
