When working in Query Editor, the Query Settings pane on the right has a section called APPLIED STEPS. Every change we make to the query gets recorded here. When the query is refreshed, these steps will be performed on the data, preventing us from having to rework the data every time the data updates. As we walk through some of the tasks below, we may rename the step so that we can remember what action the step performed:
