In our application, we used many of the NativeScript UI elements that replace our existing HTML code. Here, we will go through some of the other UI elements available in the NativeScript framework to help us build a more robust UI:
- TextField: The TextField control is used as an Input field in NativeScript. It has properties such as hint, maxlength, and keyboard type, which allow us to configure the input format on the device.
- TextView: This control is an extension of the TextField control, wherein it allows users to enter multiline text.
- Picker controls: There are three picker controls provided by NativeScript, DatePicker, TimePicker, and ListPicker. These controls provide a form of list view to allow the user to select a value.
