Deploying Sample Trello using a web app service – GitHub

In the previous section, we deployed our code on Microsoft Azure using FTP. This approach was simple and we were able to deploy the application in a very few steps.

But, there is one disadvantage to this approach: every time we make a change in our code, and we build and test it, we will have to manually deploy our application on the web server using FTP.

This is fine if you are the only developer on the project and it's a small project. This approach quickly becomes an overhead if you are working on a large-scale project. We need a mechanism to quickly integrate the development process into our deployment so as to automatically deploy the code on the web server every time we check in.
