Overview of this book

Client/Server Multi-Tier Architectural Patterns

This chapter provides a bird's eye view of client-server architectural patterns. It starts with the need for the evolution of two-tier client-server patterns and highlights how the limitations of two-tier client-server patterns led to the evolution of three-tier and consequently n-tier client-server patterns.
