Let's create a new page and add a Web Part Zone to that page:
Open up the
sharesite in SharePoint Designer.Go to File | New | ASPX.
Select File | Save.
Give your page the name feeds.
Set the Save as type to ASPX Files.
Change the title to RSS Feeds.
Click Save.
If you do not already have the Web Parts task pane open, then open it using Task Panes | Web Parts.
Click on the New Web Part Zone button, which is located at the bottom of the Web Parts task pane. This will add a new zone to our page called
Zone 1.In the Web Part Zone Properties dialog, give the zone the title RSS Feeds and uncheck the three permissions check boxes at the foot of the dialog.
Click OK.
