Exporting database data to XML documents


The OFBiz WebTools interface provides utilities to easily export data from any OFBiz data source or part of an OFBiz data source, including all configured databases. All data source exports copy from the target source and save data as one or more plain text XML document file(s). These files may be then directly imported to other OFBiz managed data sources using the OFBiz XML data import tools.

Note: at any time, you may export data from your database(s) using any third-party tools available. This section provides information on how to use OFBiz to manage the exporting of data from any configured data source.

Getting ready

When using the XML Data Export tools to copy data from an OFBiz managed data source, OFBiz must have write access to the destination directory where you plan on saving the exported data.
