It is important that you learn the prerequisites and concepts for the EBS 12.1.1 installation. The installation can vary from an express single node with one user account install to a very complex multinode architecture for the application and database tier. The latter is related to real production environments with high availability and load balancing features for the apps tier. What is important here is that all installations use the same concept and use the rapidwiz
utility.
In this section, we will use a single-node, non-express install. The selected approach requires an oracle Linux account for the database tier and an applmgr Linux account for the application tier.
