Dynamics NAV 7 and beyond


Microsoft has announced a couple of very interesting improvements and new features in the next release of Dynamics NAV, version 7. At this moment, no test or community pre-release of Dynamics NAV version 7 is available to the public. There are versions out there, but under a very strict NDA agreement. I will try to highlight some of the changes that were already mentioned at Microsoft conferences and blogs.

Jet Reports Express

Jet Reports is a product that at this moment I don't have a lot of experience with. But nevertheless I have heard many great things about it and it is already widely spread at many Dynamics customer sites. In the next version of Dynamics NAV, we will get a Jet Reports Express edition for free. That is if you are on a Business Ready Enhancement Plan.
