Configuring your own custom adapter

OEP allows you to easily add your own custom adapter code. You shouldn't be afraid of the idea of creating your own adapter. It can be as simple as creating a single Java class. An adapter has optional APIs provided for life cycle notifications, allocating an execute thread, injecting service references, and receiving events.

Before creating your own adapter, you should review the OEP adapter APIs.
