In this section, we'll learn more about how we can work with solutions.

Creating a solution

You can create a new solution to contain your customizations.

To create a new solution, follow these steps:

  1. In the navigation pane, click on Settings.

  2. In the Customization group, click on Solutions.

  3. Click on the New button.

  4. In the New Solution pop-up window, provide the following information:

    • Display Name: This is the friendly name for your solution. The display name will be copied without punctuation or special characters to the Name field, which is the schema name for the solution.

    • Publisher: This field specifies the person, department, or company who published the solution.

    • Version: This field specifies the version number for your product in the major.minor.build.revision format.

    • Configuration Page: After creating your solution and uploading a HTML web page as a web resource...
