It is impossible to do the SharePoint platform justice in the few pages dedicated to this primer. The SharePoint platform is massive, and there are a number of SharePoint capabilities and services that are not mentioned here but that are worth looking into, for example, the new social computing features in SharePoint 2013. It is probably not necessary or practical to attempt to master all of SharePoint's intricacies, but hopefully, this chapter has given you some starting points that will guide the rest of your discovery of this powerful business application platform.
