Rotation is another popular gesture used within iOS apps. It is performed by placing two fingers on your device's screen and rotating either one contact point around the other, or both around each other. To allow the rotation of content, you can listen for and respond to the TransformGestureEvent.GESTURE_ROTATE
event.
We will continue from the Panning an object recipe and add the ability to rotate the on-screen content.
If you haven't already done so, complete the Panning an object recipe before proceeding.
You can continue to work with the code you wrote during that recipe. Alternatively, open chapter5\recipe8\recipe.fla
from the book's accompanying code bundle and work from there. You will also find the FLA's document class in the same folder.
